Belt Tension Control Systems

During the various stages of laminated material processing, tension variations can occur that lead to defects, web breaks, and unplanned production line stoppages.

To address these issues, we have designed and developed a wide range of load cells; all of them utilize advanced technology to accurately measure the tension exerted by the material on the machine’s feed rollers.

How the voltage control system works

The tension control system relies on continuous measurement of critical process parameters to ensure precise and stable web control.

Two types of measurement sensors

We offer two types of measurement sensors: · Load cell: measures the tension of the web.
· Diameter sensor: measures the diameter of the roll in real time.

Both sensors send their signals to the tension controller for data processing.

Voltage controller

The tension controller then compares the belt tension value with the programmed setpoint and generates an output signal to the brake or motor, dynamically adjusting the belt tension to keep it within the specified parameters.
